I just found that the protein shake im taking has way too mcuh fat and cholesterol and i have to take 4 scoops just to meet 50g of protein. I want to buy a new protein shake as fast as i can because of my last blood test my cholesterol was high, is Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex a good protein shake? and whats a good online store? is smart body nutrition good?

Pro Rated Bovarian Chocolate or Alpine Vanilla....are awesome....

Costco has them for under 20$...90 servings of 20g protein...stripped of fat and protein...got like 4g carbs...tastes better thna 99% protein shakes out there....

The cost factor sucks with these "Protien Shakes." Have a can of Tuna (24 gms of protien per can) and it's a third the cost of a shake with the same protien content! Plus you get your Omega-fats!!!

can of tuna typically has closer to 35g of protein...and he asked for a protein shake specifically.....there are quite obviously a ton of other whole food alternatives....

Personally, I like Healthy 'N Fit 100% Whey with aminos. It's under $20, it's low carb, has 1 g of fat, no artificial sweeteners and doen't taste bad if you mix it with soy milk. It also has 45g of protein per serving.

I like Myoplex deluxe... 53g of protein and if you get vanilla you can mix whatever you like with it to change things up... I've been using Pomegranit juice

The costco brand of whey protein menace suggested is really good.

Even better is "ProtoPlex - Precision Engineered" Whey protein. YIt has 42 grams of protein per shake. You can get that at a decent price online at http://www.vitaminworld.com
