I am using Isopure whey protein and was wondering if I could mix it in skim milk instead of water to improve the taste a little......or if not sim milk something else.

You don't really want to mix your post workout shake with milk. It slows absorption.

hmm charlie you and the buffalo have come though again. no more milk with protein after work out. Would it be a good idea to add milk before bed to protein to slow the absorbtion?

Where do you guys learn about this stuff?
I take a One A Day Vitamin and think thats enough (that what my mom used to tell me)
I feel like there is a giant supplement monster out out there waiting to be discovered! How 'bout a push in the right direction...

fsdsk, BB1, rev8ball,and rpacheco have written a lot about this stuff. I view protien and vitamins differently "supplements". Protein and vitamins are essentials. If you can't eat enough to make the minimum, then they are out there. I don't always get all my veges. Vitamins help balance. I need 200 to 250 g of protein a day. A couple of shakes make sure I get it.
To me supplements are creatine ,NO2,D-bol Blah Blah Blah. I don't understand them and it is hard for me to trust manufacturers in general. I am an old dog and new tricks are cool but nonessential. BB1 posted many times that If you eat, exercise and rest properly that is 95% of the game. He and the other mods here have said that supplements may add 5% after you have exausted all other efforts. I can live without the 5%.
The push in the right direction would be to do your homework. The fit buddy search is full of great info.

The sad thing is, isopure is hands-down the best tasting protein on the market and you still have to mix it with milk for better taste.
