Amazing breakfast!
In a small bowl, microwave 1/4c oats with enough water to cover (1/2c), set aside. Place 1c frozen blueberries on the blender, add enough water to cover. Blend until smooth. Add cooked oatmeal , 2 scoops strawberry-kiwi Nectar whey protein (or your favorite fruit or vanilla protein) powder and another cup of water. blend until smooth! Really refreshing and tasty! |

Cheesecake Shake
Go buy some lowfat Jell-O cheesecake mix, and add one tablespoon to this mix: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, ¾ cup of cottage cheese, 1 cup ice cubes, a dash of Splenda, and just enough water to mix it in a blender. To make this really special, add a couple of drops of vanilla extract and a graham cracker. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute. |

.. ft Elite Status Gender : Male Posts : 1350 Protein Bar Recipe NON-COOK 5 tbsp natural peanut butter (chunky or smooth) * 1/2 cup dry oat meal or whole grain hot cereal (uncooked) * 1/2 cup oat flour (double the dry oats if you do not have oat flour) * 6 scoops chocolate whey protein (approximately 132 grams worth of low-carb protein powder) * 1 teaspoon vanilla * 2 tablespoons flax seeds (optional) * 1 cup non-fat dry milk * 1/2 cup water (depending on what type of protein you use, you may need to add more) * Modifications: Use vanilla protein and replace ~1/4 cup of the oatflour with a variety of nuts, seeds, or dried berries. Spray an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Combine dry ingredients in a medium size bowl and mix well. Add peanut butter and mix - the mixture will be crumbly and dry. Add water & vanilla. Using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula, everything until a dough forms. The dough will be sticky. Spread dough into pan using a clean wooden spoon or spatula that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Refrigerate a few hours (or freeze for an hour) and cut into 9 squares. Wrap bars individually (use sandwich bags or plastic wrap) or store in covered container between sheets of wax paper. tasty post-workout shake (use the amount of dextrose/malto-dextrin and protein you need)
55oz water (almost 2 qts)I keep 2 qt containers of water in the fridge because shakes taste better with realy cold water, IMO 1 tub strawberry-kiwi crystal lite (makes 2 qts) dextrose maltodextrin vanilla isopure (zero carb) shake well, or stir with a whisk (sometimes it mixes easily, sometimes it doesn't. haven't figured that out yet). -------------- Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing. -Abraham Lincoln |

My favorite variation to a plain shake -
We buy a big bag of frozen strawberries from Costco, so i just throw in about 5 or 6 with vanilla mix. I use water, orange juice, or sometimes milk. It saves using ice but has the same effect. You can freeze your own fruit for it too - just lay all your selected fruit pieces individually on a cookie sheet, put in freezer until you see they are solidly frozen, then put them into big ziplocs. Then when you need them, you can just grab a few and they won't all be stuck in one big chunk. Enjoy! | |

I see that most of these are for a certain flavor protein. What if you have a flavored one already. I use the Muscle Milk light (cookies n cream). Does it matter? Some of them I think would taste disgusting if I added it. If so, any ideas for mine?

Umm - I think the muscle milk cookies and milk is great by itself, but if you wanted to add carbs oats would probably taste okay.

It is definitley better then most I have tried. I was just trying to come up with different ways of consuming it other then a drink. Its always so damn clumpy! Someone told me to mix it with pancake mix and make pancakes out of them, will this even work?

I use the same powder actually. It does taste a lot better than most other brands. I have tried the chocolate and the cookies and cream.
I usually add: 1 cup of milk 1 banana 1 egg 5 - 6 strawberries 1 tsp of chocolate pudding mix Its really good. Very chocolatey (if you like that sort of thing). I have added blueberries in place of the strawberries and it tastes really good. Plus the extra stuff adds a few more calories and protein. Oh a table spoon of peanut butter (with the chocolate powder) is also tasty. You just gotta experiment a little. If it dont taste that good, just chug it down quick and try not to vomit :P |

Do you also mix it with the 10-12 ounces of water? or do you skip the water if you add the other stuff you just said
