Which government are you referring to?
And I highly doubt a complete ban on protein supplements. Usually protein supplements are made from purely natural sources. Maybe they would ban specific supplements or meal replacements. An example would me Champion Nutrition's MetMax. It was banned because it contains vanadyl sulfate (not sure how to spell it). Too bad because it was good :)
And besides, even if they were to ban certain things. Look at Ephedrine. I think that was banned in Canada, but you can get it at any nutrition store.

I really doubt our goverment is going to go as far as to ban protein supps. Thats just my opinion though.

I am an avid reader of muscle & fitness, it is a cool magazine.... the only thing I wonder about, is the massive amounts of advertising that appear in the magazines. I am wondering, should I spend the money on stuff such as "Methoxy Pro", or "Nitro-Tech"? Money is not a problem with me, but if I can budget it so I get the best bang-for-my-buck, I will be willing to try that path. Currently I am using both proteins (Methoxy Pro also contains glutamine) and post workout, I use "Cell Tech" Maybe I am a victim of advertising, and it is my mindset.....but I feel they are working right after I drink either product. Any comments wou;d be great!

your right ambrose...the supplements out there are endless...you go through a muscle mag and there's like a whole bunch of ads trying to convince u why their product is the best...I'm personally don't go wild for any drug or supplement...but as weight trainers I guess we usually need that something to help us boost up our energy...you get my drift...the protien your currently cycling with is pretty common 1..I hear about it all the time...if you feel it's working well then it most likely is...but also try multi-vitamins and protien bars...check out the contents and get some advise from some specialist.
cheers

Some senators are trying to put a tighter hold on all suplements, saying that we're not responsible enough to take them safely. Senator Hatch of Utah is fighting to keep suplements legal. I've signed a petiton to keep them legal. If you are really worried write your senator in your state and tell him how you feel. I did.
