i hear alot about protien on this site. my first question is
is it more important for someone who is getting into body building (for comteting and such)? from what i understand protien helps with building muscle.
is it just as important for someone who is aiming for lean muscle gain?
and finally, is too much protien bad for you?

Protein is for everyone. It is the building blocks of all our cells, besides water. It is more important if one is doing vigourous exercise like weight lifting, as muscles break down and have to be re-built, I've never heard of anyone getting too much.
