Can anyone give me any advice on pursuing a girl. I'm 17 and I never had a girlfriend and I think that this girl could be the one. I appreciate your help.

Be yourself... man, it's been a long time since I pursued a girl... but be yourself... if she doesn't like you for who you are, then she's probably not the one for you...
Just my opinion though... I'm sure there are others...
Good luck!

The worst thing in the world is to look back on your life and say "What if?" in matters relating to the heart. Better to have no doubts. Go for it.

Agamble, that is exactly what I told my sone when he was a Freshman. (He had liked this particular girl in 8th grade but never said anything to her.) We were at a function the next year and she and her friends were there. I could tell he wanted to talk to her, so I told him to go on and I would wait for him outside. I said to him 'One of the worst things in life is to wish you had done or said something when you had the opportunity. Besides, what's the worst that could happen? She wont talk to you.' He did talk to her that day and pursued her for the next 3. They married in Dec 2001! Go for it Yami, you'll never know if you dont. And what's the worst that could happen?

At least then you would know. I hate lingering doubts.

Whatever you do, don't be cheesey! No cliche's! Like everyone slse said, be yourself! Don't go out of your way to impress or else you can come out looking like an arogant prick. And don't pick your nose in front of her...you'll do just fine.

Dont wear too much cologne. If being really obvious that you like her by fumbling with your words on accident is your style (me on more than one occasion) then stick with it. Be yourself, you dont want someone to end up liking you for the person that you portrayed yourself to be. Just relax and go for it... let us know how the pursuing goes :)
