Ive been told and heard from people that if you want a nice set of abs you need to have a strong lower back also. well im guess is that if thats true that wouldnt it make sense that if you want a good chest your need a good back, or if you want nice biceps you need triceps?

It's all a question about balance...... If you have strong abs and weak back you'll be open for a lot of injuries and that's the same with the other muscles.
Often people got stronger bis than triceps and quads than hamstrings......
Things that they need to work on.
