Question about creatine

I've heard many different ways of taking creatine monohydrate. Can anyone tell me the best way to take it? (empty stomach/w food or juice, dissolved/straight powder)

I've tried different ways but would like a sure-fire answer if possible.

ive been told dissolved in a non acidic juice ( grape is my personal favorite) works the best because if it is soluted in a liquid it can saturate your muscles much faster than any other way.

Grape juice is the best as it is highest in fructose. We keep alot of frozen juice here just for that. Make sure you drink it right away after mixing the supplement.

I really can't tell you the best way of taking it but I can tell you the fastest way of taking it: make sure to carry pure creatine in your gym bag. After your workout, take a fat tablespoon (that's also in your gym bag) and scoop some creatine in your mouth and then chase it with water. I never have time or at least I don't like wasting time mixing drinks other than whey protein.

I personally don't like mixing nor using powders
I use creatine monohydrate liquid, One dropper full 15 minutes before work out and that's it.
The only think I keep in the gym bag is, multi vitamin and glutamine, I like to take them right after work out.

If you take a schhp of creatine with out mixing it does it have a bad taste?

Yes, I find that taking the powder by itself is really unappealing. Right now I take a heaping Tsp with warm white grape juice an hour or so before work out. I take another 1/2 Tsp later on after a period of not eating. I may try dissolving it though.

creatine without mixing tasted like chalk. I find it not that bad at all. You only taste it for a few seconds.
