I have been working out off and on for... years now. Heh... Yeah. Its terrible. Every few months I get into the groove then a busy week comes and I don't have time to work out and it all goes down hill.
Anyways. I'm starting over. No complaining. No wasting time, no "I'll do it in an hour". But I have noticed something. In the mirror and when I am bench pressing, my left peck is stronger (and more defined) then my right one. Its very evident in the mirror and when I benchpress. My left arm always finishes while my right struggles. Any ideas how to have my right peck catch up to my left one. And how long would it take. Do I have to stop working out my left and just focus on my right till they are even. Or is there a way I can still work out both while my right catches up?
Thanks. Also, how long do you think it will take? I'm hoping to be well on my way to a strong, well definded body by June or so. I plan to stick with working out.

If you use dumbells (so do dumbell bench press or flyes) rather than barbell or fixed machines, then the stronger left side can't "help" your right side, forcing the right to try to catch up.
good luck

Cables are very helpful also...you can also try using smith machine...and when you're working out...look in the direction of your weaker arm, leg, etc...to help you focus better....
this is a very common problem...and it will take you a while to fix..just modify your workouts to focus working muscles unilaterally...(ie one arm, leg, etc at a time)..and keep it up....it can take months or more to fix...
