Question about my fitness plan

Under the fitness plan section it asks what equipment you have access too. I do not have a gym membership becuase it was too hard to go with my 1 year old son. But at home I have purchased a treadmill and a weight bench set with 300 lbs. of weight and a curl bar. But those particular items do not equate to freeweights or machines. Is there a way to put into my fitness plan those items so I don't have to put that I have no equipment? I want to utilize what I do have.

What you have is indeed freeweights. Just check weights only. Your treadmill will be fine for cardio. Welcome to FT.

I know you can customize your workout to the excercises you want with a FT Professional subscription.... But no ideas other than that

If I input freeweights it puts many dumbell exercises into my workout. But I don't own any dumbells. I was hoping for a good chest and arms program that would utilize my bench and weights. Any suggestions. P.S. thanks for the quick response that is awsome!!!

I would suggest buying a cheap set of dumbells, I bought a set from sears that only cost $20.00 and goes up to 40 lbs. You can even go to a used sporting good shop and find them cheaper.

Dumbells are really cheap if you just buy the bars. You can do two handed exercises with your 2 bars. Shaun is right that with FT pro you can swap exercises. The movements with dumbells Vs barbells are similar though. The dumbells provide a bit more isolation except on certain movements like flyes.
