I have read here that if you walk in the mornings before you eat then you will loose a few inches that way... well my question is how long should i walk?? I have been tring to do a brisk walk for about 30mins first thing in the morning... but the past 2 mornings I have only been able to do about 20mins, is that a long enough walk? or should i try to stay with 30 if at all possible?? thanks again!!!

With low intensity cardio, which a "brisk" walk would fall into the category of, I would suggest longer duration to have any good effects, 50 minutes or so.

This actually is a good way to tap fat stores. Fat cannot be mobilized easily by the body for energy as glycogen can, so longer duration will actually target fat stores and spare muscle well. It will be slow mind you, no miracles, but combine solid diet and continuous improvement, and it should be beneficial.
