Alright, so I know labels can be misleading, and the food that you purchase isn't what it is said to be. I have 100% Whole Wheat bread, but the first ingredient listed is Whole Wheat Flour. Is that the healthy ingredient I should be looking for? I feel like flour shouldn't be included for some reason, but I would appreciate the help.

Look for whole grain and make sure doesn't contain molasses for colour.

If the first ingredient is 'enriched', usually a good idea to put it back.

What if the second ingredient is enriched? I'm guessing it just means it's not as bad compared to having it be the first ingredient listed. Also, what is whole wheat flour? I guess it's just me but I get a negative feeling when i see flour, I feel as if it's a "bad" carbohydrate.

Flour isn't bad for you if it is derived from whole grains without removing the fiber; matter of fact it is healthy for you. Unfortunately, most breads you buy in the store mix whole grains with bleached or enriched flour, molasses/corn syrip/sugar etc. The best bet is either buying from a health food store, or looking on the back of every "whole wheat" bread in the store and checking for the highest fiber content. If you can get over 3 g a slice, especially if the total carbs are less than 12g, you're doing OK.
