Hello, I am a beginner in the weight loss and definition program. I am wondering if I need to increase the weights as the reps per set decrease or keep the weights the same.
I have been lifting for about 6 weeks on my own, but have kept the weight amount the same over 4 sets, 15 reps each.
Thanks for your time and help : )

Yes.. the general rule is to increase the weight as the reps are lowered so that you keep challenging your muscles.. this is more beneficial than staying with the same number of reps and weight used.
Good Luck

I got back into weight lifting a little over a month ago. I began with 2 sets of 15, and an average of 35 pounds.
I have graduated to 3 sets of 12, 10, and 8 reps, and increased my weights by 50 to 60 pounds.
I am seeing a big difference.
