Going to get a protein shake mix from protein factory, but am stumped by my choices for sweeteners. they are:

Acesulfame
Aspartame
Neosweet
Splenda (sucralose)
Stevia

Which one of these is best/less harmful? Or does it depend on the situation?

Acesulfame Potassium - Decent taste. Not aware of established side effects.
Aspartame - Possible complications if user is a phenylketoneuric, such as headaches, dizziness, etc.
Splenda (sucralose) - sugar derived; can cause upset stomach.
Stevia - Plant dervied. FDA does not allow companies to label it as a "sweetener." Some possible minor side effects - currently being investigated.

Out of all of the above, I prefer just a few grams of some type of carb to help sweeten, but that's just me...

I buy from them alot, why not let them just add chocolate flavoring or strawberry, and add dextrose and malto for your post workout shake. This will make it plenty sweet anyway, as rev says. They are your fast absorbing carbs you want with your protein post workout.
