Hey guys! Question...is it okay to have protein shake before gym? I'm having a problem with eating my 5 small meals around the gym...I usually go after work at 5...
my last meal is at 2:30...so I'm hungry right beofore I head to the gym...should I take the shake then? I know I've read its better after the gym...but I was just wondering.

yes, have the shake before. You need some fuel for your workout.

yea i always take a shake before the gym. You should have about 20 grams of protein before the gym and about 30 to 40 grams afterward or when you get home(1 hour max). I usually take more but you probably weigh less than me. Plus, I don't think women are supposed take as much as men.

You can even sip on a shake during if you like.
