This is my first time getting into any sort of serious workout routine, and I was just wondering if I'm doint it right. I might be putting it kind of awkwardly so let me ask it another way...
Using the program that FreeTrainers has put together for me, should I work through all the rep sets in a particular exercise at one time, or should I do the first set for one exercise and move on to the next, repeating until I have done all sets of reps for each exercise?
Also, each time I move on to the next set, should I raise slightly the amount of weight or lower it as I move on to the next set? For instance, say I'm supposed to do 3 sets of bicep curls, at 12 reps, 10 reps, and 8 reps. Should I start at my highest and add a little weight or remove a little weight.
Again, I apologize if my questions seem awkwardly worded or... well, really stupid, but I am very serious about losing weight and gaining strength and muscle, so any and all help is appreciated. Thanks for your time everyone.

First off, welcome to the site.
Your questions are very good questions and no need to appologize.
You do all the sets in the same exercise before moving on to the next one.
And yes, add more weight to the next set if you did the last set too easy. The first set is a warm up,(so go lighter) the balance of the sets should give you difficulty for the last three reps. Pay close attention to your form. If you can't keep perfect form then you are going too heavy.
Good luck and please fill in your profile.

Thanks a lot. I'll get right on filling out my profile. I used to have another account on the site, but I lost the login information for that account and found the information for this old one, so that's why I'm using this one.
I have another question as well. What do you reccomend one does when the gym is closed for the holidays? The owners will be gone for the next week and with the gym closed I have no access to machines or free weights, so how should I handle my workout routine during this time without falling behind?

take a day off, do alight jog, some pushups, run some stairs........1 or 2 days off won't make you fall that far behind.
