Ok, here is a couple of question that I haven't been able to find out answers for.
What is the absorbtion rate of whey protien?
I've read on the forum that your body can only hold 30g of protien at one time. Anything above that is stored by the body I take it. I'm supposed to be eating 255g of protien a day, so if I'm eating 6 meals a day that is only 180g of protien. I guess I can supplement the rest with shakes, but that means I have to be pretty exact in my portions because I might have protien still in my bloodstream, say 10 mg, and then dump another 30 on top of that, so that will just be stored. Am I understanding this right? It seems very confusing to me, but I not that smart. :)
Next question, When excerising does the body use the protien in the bloodstream before catabizing (sp?) of the muscle begins?
Totally off the subject of protien, what is the difference on the body using fat or carbs during a work out. As a former Atkins person I'm just wondering. Both carbs and fats are fuel, as I understand it that is all they are used for. So why does it matter if your carbing up for a workout or fatting up? (probably not the best term)
thanks for your patience with dumb questions,
Dale

its not necesarily 30g, its different for everyone. I think bb1 believes thats false info that somehow became "common knowledge", Im not sure what assimers stance on it :)
