Questions on calorie estimate?

mine says like 4100 max. I thought through other calculators on the web that being 270 lbs. with a 39% body fat moderate activity level that 4100 was a little high. I thought more around 3500 to 3000. Does the 4100 mean max and you should try to eat below that or to shoot for that daily?

I think those estimates are really high. If I were you, I'd shoot for around 2500-2700 to start with, and see what happens. If you are trying to lose weight, then that should put you on track. I think the high calorie estimate is for gaining mass. Normally you would consume more calories if you are trying to bulk up.
