Right now I'm doing cardio on my off days. I do about 40-50 minutes that day. Usually I do 5 mins slow walk, 20-25 minutes jog, 15 minutes fast paced walk, 5-10 minute cooldown. Now my question is should I be doing all the walking beforehand, or just continue with what I'm doing? Also any suggestions of how to get started with HIIT would be great, I would really like to build my endurance.

Start of with your regular warm up, then up your intensity to max out, cool down, then bring HR up again, repeat this for the amount of time for your cardio. Thats what intervals(HIT) are about. Eventually you will have more endurance.
