Well after a few weeks of starving to death trying to be supportive and follow my husbands diet plan, I finally got up the nerve to tell him that I can't do it. I need to eat better but walking around feeling weak with hunger pains is not the best way to be healthy (I know from a past experience).
So here is a question that maybe someone could help with... I am 5'1" and weigh 110 I have about 20% body fat.
What is a good balance of carbs, fats and protiens for me to maintain my weight and best support my desire to tone up?
P.S. I am using fitday.com to keep track of what I eat.

Fitday is a great tracker. If you are doing any type of resistance training you have to feed those muscles!!!

Okay, you've got several options. You can go with a typical 40/30/30 C/P/F split. That's an all around effective diet. However, if you're really focused on fat loss (which if you're really at 20% you shouldn't be - in women abs are visible at around 18%) go with a reduced carb diet (I'm not suggesting low carb - there's a difference). For that, I would split at around 20/50/30 or so. Total calories for fat loss are generally around 12 times your bodyweight, though with someone as light as you, I'm not sure if you should go that low. Only way to find out is to try and see if you get hungry often.
