There is no important supplement for muscle mass. Forget the magazine ads, those are designed with one purpost,to sell you something.

Work out, eat, rest, repeat. This will gain you muscle mass.

bb1's exactly right. The fact that your just starting out and if I remember correctly from your other post, your still a teenager, if that's the case, you'll be shocked at the results you can acheive. Food is the best supplement out there.

You will not look like Arnold in 8 weeks. However, do not "waste" this time with crappy diet, etc. Being in a newbie stage, you will make the best and most rapid gains of your life. Now, again, you will not look like Arnold, but true muscle gain comes very slowly. Looking back some day you will learn to "appreciate" the gains you made at this time.

If you want a 6 pack, you can forget about making any muscle gains or strength gains. The diet involved for a 6 pack is not conducive to gaining.

Again, diet is key here also. Diet is the key to this whole thing, whether you want to gain or lose, you have to have a diet that is adequate do the job.

They gain muscle with a good calorie diet, along with some fat, then cut to show the muscle beneath. Again, with a different type diet.
