I wanted to know if I build lean mass will I be able to shed the 10 extra pounds that I want to lose. I am happy with my size 10 figure but I want lean muscle mass. Currently I am 170, so I want to be a lean 160 with definition. I am asking because I am under the impression that I cannot lose the weight while building lean muscle mass. Can anyone help? I do cardio as well and I thought that would help to shed the extra pounds while building the muscle. Am I on the right track.
