hello..

my name is Erik and I have been working out for 10 months to gain mass. I had been working out for 2 years prior to this, but I was training for cuts and definition. I was 5'9 150. Now in these 10 months I am 5'9 205. My arms are 16 inches. I have gotten much stronger but still dont look like I want to. I eat about 300 grams of protein a day, in 6 50g of protein meals every 3 hours. I also take in about 3000 calories a day. I am in the 5th week of my gain mass exercise program and i do notice strenght gains but they are not visible. Is this normal? Am I expecting to much too fast? I can bench max 300 lbs. I want to also know if I should have a little gut. I do have a little stomach but I want to know if it is natural. I would appreciate some answers to my questions from some people who have been in my situation or are in it. Also what program I should do after this 8 week gain mass routine, and answers to why my arms are so small. If 16 inches is small. I dont know I'm probably just comparing myself to some serious weightlifters. Respond please. Thank You

Welcome to ft! It is natural to gain a little fat weight on your quest to gain more mass. When you feel you've obtained enought mass, you'll begin to cut and define again. However, you may be limited by your genetics in how big you can become. And for the most part, your strength gains may be more noticeable than your body indicates.

Good luck and hope you achieve your goals...
