Has anyone tried thoes energy/protein drinks? Do they fill you up more or less compared to bars? I am thinking about buying some, but I usually buy in bulk to save so I thought I would ask first. Thanks

I think they're great. They taste good and they are handy if you are on the go like most teens. I think it is a good investment sweeny. I get the chocolate and add a tablespoon of peanut butter, along with the fat-free milk. They sell them in one serving size so you might want to get just one of those to sample it before investing. Don't forget to check expiration dates!

I think you mean the canned/bottled stuff that you just shake up and suck down. I recently tried some Strawberry-Kiwi flavored Pure Pro from ABB. It tasted horrible! I heard the pre-mixed Myoplex is good though.

Of this topic, slightly... Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive protein powder?

I buy X-rated Whey Protein and think you get a better deal per serving size than most I have seen, including Myoplex. A stated earlier, I add non-fat milk and one tablespoon of peanut butter to the chocolate and whala...peanut butter buster parfai...DQ style.
