Hey guys,
I have been doing upright rows for a couple of months now and love the feel they give; especially right before my last shoulder exercise: shurugs.
I have recently had a wrist injury and no matter where I grip (wider or closer), it still hurts my wrist and thus, I might have to drop the exercise for a bit. I'm a little disappointed about it, but I gotta' do what I gotta' do.
What is a good replacement for upright rows?
And I was always wondering which exact muscles did they work... and what is the best grip: closer or wider?
Thanks guys.

They work the traps and front deltoids. You can keep doing your shrugs and inlcine presses bench set at about a 80 degree angle or you could do arnolds. You might want to go to www.inzernet.com or www.titansupport.com and get a good pair of wrist wraps.
