I'm just trying to get an honest answer from the people that know... Since you guys know so much about fitness. :)

Subject 1
If you eat out at restaurants somewhere between 4-5 nights a week and eat around 7:30-9:00 every evening and go to bed between 10 and 11:00 will you be able to lose weight? Or will that just pack the pounds on eating so late?

I usually have some type of salad with chicken, or a piece of chicken and broccoli and rice, or a turkey sandwich with broccoli or beans or something like that.

Subject 2
I've heard they put all sorts of butter and oils and stuff on the foods even if it's good stuff like chicken to make it taste better and make you want more. Is that true?

Subject 3
What is the latest time you should eat in the evening to be able to lose weight and be healthy?

Subject 4
And, I've been doing the Denise Austin Yoga/Pilates/Aerobics daily workouts on TV OR the Mari Winsor Yoga/Pilates/Aerobics DVD every week day. I either work out in the morning and if I miss that I work out in the evening. Is that a waste of time? Or are they good workouts?

And is it a waste of time to do those work outs when you're eating out all the time?

Come on you know these answers.......LOl. Anyway I am not a big believer in not eating after a certain time as I feel that lowers your blood sugar to far. However there are good and bad things to eat...try to keep the protein up and carbs lower. AS for eating out even with the new carb low health concious foods it is still hard to eat well out. My suggestion is not to. It not only allows you to get a better choice of food but also is a hell of a lot cheaper.
As for the exercise question let me ask you this, do you enjoy it? have you seen results? that is the final word if you see results keep at it. I feel that any exercise is better than none, but some exercises are better than others.....hope this helps.

Hi there 7707mutt,

Yes, I know the answers to these questions. ;) My husband however, is in perfect shape and eats out all the time with no exercise and thinks anyone can do it the way he does.

He could eat bricks for a month and still weight the same hahaha must be so nice. I, on the other hand, am not doing too well with eating out all the time. Even when I split it in half to start with it's still just too late to eat and restaurant food is just not good for you.

I've been working out for 3-5 days a week either walking or pilates or yoga or something for quite a while and just stayed at the same weight. Scared to think of what would happen if I stopped working out hehe....YIKES!

I am having a blast doing the yoga / pilates / aerobics. I didn't think I could do it at my weight but I CAN! It actually has me interested because it works my entire body, and still relaxes you so well at the end. :) I Love my yoga and pilates!

I started seeing results last week at work. I sat down at my desk and pulled my slacks up a bit like normal and they weren't as tight when I sat down. I've started sitting with my back a lot straighter too.

It's the first time I've actually looked forward to working out. Woohoo!

Laneylou - you are on the right track. stick with chicken salad or chicken and veggies and just request that it is baked or broiled with no added fat. tell them you will have a heart attack if it is too fatty, that should work ;0

Pilates and yoga are great for stress relief and flexibility - but I strongly believe you need weight training to stimulate your metabolism and firn up your body. Do the aerobics - good job! check out the walk away the pounds series with leslie sandstone (i think), low-impact and enjoyable.

Any results are a major reason to celebrate!!! Yeah!

You cannot compare yourself with a man - he has different hormones, is made for different purposes and has a different bodytype than you do.Besdies, when he hits 40 or so he will go bald and get a nice little potbelly (if he doesn't change his ways, that is :))

You keep it up, girl. And you eat every 3 hours, sticking with veggies and lean protein, with the occasional 1/2c of rice or oatmeal and stay with the exercise and keep your chin up - you will keep on noticing those small results - exalt in them!!!

Thanks asimmer :) I'm sticking with it as much as I can!!!

He'll be just like his grandfather and father. They're all 6'0 - 6'2 and skinny as a board. hehe :) He'll never gain a pound. :) Lucky-butt!

Hi, I was wondering how you felt about Taebo. I think it's fun, but is it a good workout or should I do something else instead?
