Not sure what healthy high fiber cereal your having, the oats, eggwhites sound better. Protein bars and almonds used as a snack don't sound too bad but would personally drop the fruit, at least the apple. Lunch, I'd replace the baked potato with a sweet potato. Dinner sounds ok. Might opt for something else before your workout instead of the protein bar. Not bad as a meal replacement but I don't think it's the best fuel source for a workout in my opinion. Have the protein shake post workout with some simple sugars. Drink 1/2 immediately, then sip the rest over about 30 minutes. A meal when you get home isn't a bad idea either. May be the evening but I'd still have at least some cottage cheese or something. Maybe mix it with some natural peanut butter, which brings me to anther point, your diet is lacking in good fats. Go to the specific diet and nutrition forum and read and eat from the "grocery list for healthy eating". Try and base your whole diet around these foods. Can't be too much more specific than that, not sure what you want to do first, lose the belly or gain size, you mention both in your profile. Can tell you we're both roughly the same build so let me know. Good luck dawg.

I have no gracery store to shop at. I knew a sweet potato would be better but the only source of potatoes in the chow halls here are Potatoes cut and friend or baked. For a cereal I'm eating Kellogs All Bran yougurt Bites. Ocassinaly they serve baked fish here, but I'm not sure what they bake it in, whatever it is, it comes out covered in a greasy sauce. Well my main goal right now is loose the belly fat. Its just a pouch that sticks out over the belt line. I'm not heavy set or anything, just that damn belly. I think its a family trait as everybody in my family has it and has a hard time gettingrid of it.

Yeah, kinda thought that might be your situation. Wasn't sure where you were stationed. Keep forgetting the world is bigger than the USA. With that being the case, your probably doing the best you can, just eat in moderation, maybe soak up whatever that greasy sauce is on the fish. Good luck bro.

okay, sounds good, i appreciate the help. I think they serve cottage cheese every now on in the salad line. Not sure if its fat free or what but i have seen it before. I'm in Balad, Iraq right now. On all the foods they have the same nutritional labels. Every meat on the sandwhich line is listed to have 265 calories for 2 slices. I dont really pay any attention to it all cause it cant be right. Sure pastrami doesnt have the same calories as turkey??
