Strange topic , I know but hear me out.

I got this feeling that my ribcage is quite large compared to my peers , i also believe it's what makes my shirts flare out at the front and the back even though i am in no way overweight , nor do i have a belly. I originally thought it may have been from too much bench pressing , but as my brother pointed out to me , I haven't built up that much mass on my chest , that being said , once again comparing to my peers (Im 15 , so im talking about my school peers here) I have muscle in that area while most of them have the flab.

It's really annoying to me because while some of them lack any much muscle mass at all , or are flabby, can still look skinny while they have their shirts on , yet while i have mine on , it flares out towards the bottom (not like a belly shape , like it seems to hang off my shoulders , if that makes any sense).

Also besides boxing training and in general , I've never really focused on cardio much , I've done alot of weight training though.

I think the rib cage size is the problem , though I'm not sure. Anyway? Any thoughts would be appreaciated. Am i stuck with this? Is it something else? Is there any way to shrink the rib cage (focusing on cardio for a while maybe?) ?

P.S probably better places to ask it on this form but , I've heard that if bulking correctly , you should be able to build a kilogram of muscle a week , especially at my age, true?

you can't shrink your ribcage and you probably shouldn't want to.

I think i was wrong and it's just perceptions or maybe the position of my shoulders.

Though if you can expand your ribcage (also considering that there is muscle tissue between the ribs) , then in theory it could shrink too?

The muscle is between each rib and in theory if that became less, it would shrink "shorter" not become smaller in girth.
