Hey guys. I'm sure all of you have probably experienced the uncomfortable feeling of lactic acid building up in your muscles when lifting before. Well my friend did some research on this subject. (he said the lactic acid buildup from squats was too much for him to bear, made him want to puke) He found a source saying that you can take rolaids before your workout. So he takes 4 tablets before his leg day and said he was able to do squats until fatigue the pain associated with lactic acid buildup. I thought that sounded funny until he increased his squat by 30 pounds over tha last four weeks using rolaids before every workout. I found this very interesting and I plan to try it during my mass workouts. Rolaids is calcium based and I'm assuming its not bad for the muscle. Hopefully I'll get some pretty good gains off of it and a proper diet of course.
