Hello, i'm a new ft user and i was wondering how to put on muscle and gain "width". I am going out for provincial U-18 rugby and i have the speed just not the sheer weight/strength. I am 175 right now and lean as hell its easy for me to gain muscle as i am naturally muscular without having to go to the health club and lift weights. Any suggestions are helpfull. I have been thinking of joining the health club, would this be mandatory to acheive best results. .

Hit the gym. Do a lot of compound lifts: squats, presses, pull-ups, rows, deadlifts, etc. And eat like a freaking machine. Eat when you're not hungry, and then eat some more.

That will put on some more mass, mostly muscle if what you say is true. It will do it without much fat and keep you in good enough shape for your rugby.
