Hey everyone,

I work out M - F at 0530 and take off for the weekend. On M, W and F my command (Navy) has Physical Training (PT) at 0730 and we are required to run 1.5 miles. What should my diet be pre-workout/post-workout and post-run to maintain muscle gain and weight gain? I'm 25 years old, 5'8", 172lbs hard gainer.

Thank you all for the help you have provided thus far.

Protein shake with carbs before workout, postworkout shake with whey protein and simple carbs. Probably the same type of shake post run.

Look in the supplements forum for posts on preworkout nutrition and post workout nutrition. It has been discussed a lot.
Good luck!
