I used to play soccer and now I am trying to get back in shape. I haven't played since Feb. 2004. I used to run a mile for 5 days a week at a time of 6:50-7:30 mins and weight trained twice a week. I want to start running again but I don't know how much I should run and how that would interefere with lifting weights. Any advice would help. Thanks.

lift on days you are not training or after weight lifting...never before
try interval training....run 400s as fast as you can with 30-120 sec rests....do 4-8 sets.....increase difficulty by trying to run faster tiems in 400 and/or decrease resting pauses....or you can further split it into 100s and try sprinting as fast as you can then rest 60 seconds and repeat ...for 8-10 sets....
