WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A SALAD DRESSING THAT IS ALL AROUND HEALTHY. MOST ARE SO HIGH IN FAT, BUT THEN LOW IN CARBS AND SUGAR--THEN IF YOU BUY ONE THAT IS LOW OR NO FAT--SEEMS LIKE IT IS LOADED WITH SUGUR TO MAKE UP FOR THE FAT. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? NOT A BIG FAT OF VIN. AND OIL EITHER.

Get olive oil based dressings. Newman's Own brand olive oil dressing is excellent, olive oil is monosaturated fats, very good for you. Make sure that olive oil is about the first ingredient.

I like to make my own, salad dressings are the biggest ripp-off as most contain wateras either the first or second ingredient. Start with some good olive oil, any-type of vinegar that you prefer, add herbs or garlic if you want...what a taste. Many variations that you can do.
