Hey there everyone...my name is Greenlee...I go by Kelly. I am a career firefighter and just have started training for the annual Firefighter's Challenge...3 weeks ago I started a rigorous 5 day a week tarining regiment. I have been dieting and I have not seen a pound of weight loss. My department says that I have to lose 25 pounds, but I also need to gain in strength for the competition. In the last 3 weeks I have actually gained 7 pounds. What am I to do. I have totally changed my diet. I no longer eat sugary foods, fried foods, or anything high in calories. I have cut back on carbs and increased my protein. I have also started the Myoplex Lite replacement meal shakes...What more can I do?

What does your training and diet look like?

And please tell us a little bit more about yourself so we'll be able to help you.

It's normal to gain weight first (muscles) that actually will help you loose weight (fat) easier.
3 weeks seem to be a long time though.
