I am trying whether to supplement my diet with the Myoplex Lite shakes, or the Myoplex bars. Is there any difference in the nutritional quality of the two, and, is there any difference in whether you take one or the other?
Thanks!

i dont remember the labels off hand, but there are usually 2 major concerns for people deciding between shakes and bars:
generally, the shakes are able to cram more nutrion into a serving than the bars because they have a bigger quanity. second, liquids usually require less "breaking down" in the stomach and therefore are more quickly assimilated than bars.
hope that helps..........michael

YES ! Opt for the shakes instead of the bar. Go to Netrition.com and compare the labels! Bars or okay for that emergency or I just need a candy bar mood. For the daily diet us the shake. We had several posts about bars but I will have to search for it...

Thanks! I'm using some bars right now, simply because they were 97cents and we don't get paid again until this Friday. (so I guess that qualifies as an emergency!) Anyway, when we get paid, I'll check it out. Thanks again!

Check the nutrition label on the products and that will tell you everything you need to know.

Often the bars got a lot more carbs and fat (otherwise the thing wont stick together) than the shakes. And the shakes are less expensive when you buy in bulk. I take shakes, but to change once in a while I take a bar.
