I was wondering if I should cut my daily calories on my rest days and if so by how much. I am currently at 2300cals.

You should not change your diet on a rest day. Continue in your usual manner because you are actually preparing yourself for your next training session. Eat and drink well!

Should I decrease carbs and increase protein or just keep it the same? Also on a rest day do you do any kind of excercise or lay off of the training for that day?

you lay off for the training on for that day. It would probably be ideal to decrease the carbs and increase the protein for the rest days. Just don't decrease the carbs to much though. Your probably getting in about 300 carbs or so?
You should cut back about 50 grams or so

Your diet should remain the same on rest days.

For optimal muscle growth, you should be at least 500 calories above maintenance every day, including rest days. To avoid excess fat storage, adjust your caloric needs on a day by day basis. So on a rest day you may burn 2200 calories - that doesn't mean you need to eat the 3400 calories (for example) you ate the previous workout day.

i would recommend to eat as a training day...
if you want, in order for you to feel good, you can decrease a bit your carbs but leave protein as it is.

Right, because you are also preparing yourself for the next workout.
