I've been taking creatine for about 4 months now. I take about 5 grams like 30 minutes before I work out. Today at the gym someone told me that I should take off 1 month for every 3 months I take it or there would be bad long term effects. Is there truth to this? I'm sorry to post a question that must have been touched on so frequently, but I really would like an answer. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the reply. I saw that thread when i searched. I guess I should have asked if there really is a long term risk if you do not cycle. What are the potential effects? One guy I talked to today at the gym has taken it for 3 years straight and swears by it. Are there any facts, or just personal accounts?
