Hey Everyone,

Currently I am trying to lose some excess weight, while trying to maintain muscle mass. I take 4-6 cAmp pills per day, and also drink about 160-180g of protein (I weigh about 185lbs and am 5'11"). I eat roughly 1600-2000 calories per day, lift weights 5 days a week, and do cardio 2-4 times a week. Since Ephedra has been reintroduced to the market, I was thinking about using it to help boost my weight loss. Do you think it would be safe with my current situation? Do you think it would actually work or would I be better off saving my money? Also, what site sells the best Ephedra formula for the price, if I should start using it again? Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

First let me clarify something. You drink 160-180 G of Protein, I presume this is a Whey Protein Shake? That's a lot...are you counting these calories in your 1600-2000 Calories per day? If not then you're actually taking in approximately 2720 calories per day, if you are then you're only eating 1300 calories of real food.

Also fill out your profile and people will be more apt to answer your questions.

How do you fill out your profile? Do you have to be a pro member to do this?

Click on Home at the top of the page then look for Personal Profile in the center of the page, just down from the top.

Hey sstump1,

I thought I do have my profile filled out, just not the picture part because I don't have a digital camera. I'm not sure what I'm missing, but if you let me know, I'd be happy to fill it out. I actually did include my protein calories into my total calories. I listed my diet below as a reference. Thanks for the help.

Morning:
- 2 scoops Nectar Protein w/water (90 calories/23 g protein per scoop) = 180 cals/46 g protein

Afternoon (workout at noon, so this is post-workout):
- 3 scoops Nectar Protein = 270 cals/69 g protein
- 1 Small homemade sandwhich(lots of veggies/low calorie bread/thin sliced low calorie meat) = 170 cals/6 g protein

Snack:
- 1 WW Pure Protein Bar = 180 cals/20 g protein

Dinner:
- Various things with 2 cups of skim milk (sometimes split into 2 meals 1/1.5 hours apart) = 800-1200 cals/20-40+ g protein (sometimes more protein, depending on what I eat that day)

Total = 1600-2000 calories/ 160-180+ g protein

You can go to "showcase gallery" and then click "your showcase profile" then fill in the fields and hit "go". The more info you put, the better help you'll get.

You definitely need to eat more whole food. A whey shake post workout and maybe some caisen at bedtime is plenty of supplemental protein.I eat cottage cheese for my bedtime snack and skip the caisen. Be aware that most protein bars are loaded with sugar. I only use them for a very infrequent snack or meal replacement when I'm cramped for time.

Also mik, you shouldn't need ephedra or any other diet supplement. Just do your homework on your diet in general, lift heavy, do your cardio and get enough rest.

Hey Charlie,

Thanks for the advice! I updated my profile with as much info as I could think of. I guess I'll avoid ephedra for a while, until more research and stuff is done. I'm not in too big of a rush to slim down, and I guess the low calorie diet with working out is probably the best/healthiest way to do it. Thanks for all the help guys.
