I have been taking ON Whey protein and Muscletech creatine with Megamen MV for about two weeks now, and I always look bloated, like I just wrecked a buffet. Is this normal, or should I chalk it up to experience and try something else. I have been working out for about a year now and since I have started taking these, I feel stronger. Granted, it might be the old "placebo" effect, but at any rate, I feel like I do more weight now. The only negative is my stomach looks like garbage. I used to be able to see definition, especially in the morning. Now it always looks the same. Fat! I'm at a loss. I also maintain a strict diet...no fast food, no trans fats, no sugary garbage. Any suggestions??

When you are on Creatine, you will loose some Definition, it will make you appear more Bloated, as it Saturates your Muscles, and you retain more water. i'd say continue on it, until after your Cycle, and then do a small Cut cycle right after, unless you want to be Cut right now, and then you might want to stop with the creatine. In my Exp I would say Creatine is more for Bulking than Cutting.

Actually, you can use creatine for leaning out as well, it actually helps. Speeder, you are correct in that creatine does retain water in the muscle, but NOT under the skin, which would give you a smoother look. If you are not drinking enough water, that could be a good reason why you look bloated, especially while using creatine. Give us some more info on how your diet is set up, and then maybe we can go from there:dumbbell:

My diet consists of oatmeal in the morning. A sandwich a couple hours after that. Another sandwich for lunch. Both usually fat free turkey with mustard on whole wheat bread. A snack after work (pre-workout) usually fruit, or nuts, yogurt, or something else I have, it varies. Dinner varies even more. I eat whatever is there. I try to eat a lot of rice. A lot of lean chicken breast. My problem is that I'm very picky. I don't have a lot of options.

You need protein with your oatmeal - either stir in some powder or have some egg whites.
Replace some of your sandwiches with chickeb breast, rice and vegetables.
You limit yourself by being picky - branch out and try new things. vegetables taste good when you eat clean and can really taste the flavor. add some olive oil to make them more palatable, and don't overcook them.
If you really want change, it takes commitment and sometimes sacrifice (okay, most of the time).
Picky is an excuse/obstacle that you put in front of yourself.
If you want to achieve your gaols, you will eat dirt if that is what will get you there (just an example, don't go chowing dirt, now).

Actually dirt isnt to bad; I like to add a little garlic to my dirt.
