Okay I've kept in shape ever since i was little and i've always have had very broad shoulders and between playing hockey at a semi pro level and working out they are pretty fit but i just cant seem to make that jump to get the to a level of what i'm looking for. i'm trying to get the whole look of having big shoulders (if that makes sense) the traps, neck, all of it just trying to get a total brick shit house look ( to quote my father ) if anyone has any tips please let me know i'm willing to try almost anything.

my favorite lifts for the traps are dumbell shrugs and heavy upright rows...as far the the deltoids them selves...military press, side lateral raises, front lateral raises, and rear lateral raises, arnold presses(also known as dumbell w's), push presses, and dumbell presses(done military fashion)....when I do my lateral raises I like to "run the rack" or perform them pyramid style...startin with a lower weight and doing 15 reps, increasing and performing 12, followed by 10, and then 8. This REALLY helped my shoulders...making them larger and more vascular....GOOD LUCK!!!

Dhurt..these are good exercises, but johnnyko needs to have a workout regimine that encompasses the entire body. Its an interconnected system with each muscle working together even when you are not specifically working that muscle. Johnnyko, you want that look?...then its gonna take years of hard work and hard complete training.

Thank you both for trying to help me out with this stuff, jdelts i've filled out the forms and stuff from the websit and have set up a routine but if you have anything or maybe a regimine or basis i could go off of i would appreciate it greatly, i'm trying to make the jump to bodybuild but just can't seem to find or make a regimine/routine or whatever that i can stick to or one that combines everything that i'm looking to do...between work and school i have about an average of six to seven hours available to put in the gym and am willing to do it just need help making proper use of my time in there and the trainers that have helped me just aren't willing to put the time that i am into it but if you all can help me out with this it would be great. please
