Hi,
I've the flu and I can't train during 4-7 days. I also have lost my appetite.
It's been like a year that I train, i've made impressive gain (52 kg's to 75 >> +/- 45 lbs).
Since I can't train and I can hardly eat... I wonder what's going to happen?
Do you have some tips to help me recover/ not lose too much/
My trainer said it wasn't a bad thing cuz resting a lil after a year is not gonna be harmful... Do you agree?
thx :)

i agree with your trainer.......if you have been lifting rather intensly for a year straight then a week off will do more good than harm probably

yea you will be fine just remember to continue to eat normal but incorporate soup with it, i was sick bad last week, so i had to break for a week and a 1/2. just think before you head back in hard, " my body was just under attack by the flu, should i really hit the weights as hard as i was before i got sick." ease into your training and give it a few days after getting over the flu before you up your intensity. btw how much are you paying a month for your trainer?

Almost nothing, it's kinda a friend and does it beacause it's is passion (not really like most of the trainer in the us...).
mm let say i change my routine every 2/3 mounth and the routine takes 5 days, 20 € (24 dollars i think) per day. So something like 50 bucks... and he trains me for me during the 2/3 mounths when i ask him
