I was just wondering what the signs of a decent workout would be. Think like feeling sore the next day, feeling pumped etc.
(i understand i could look at statistics over a period of time but im talking about instantly-ish recognisable signs :))

There really are no "signs" of a good workout. DMOS is crap, in the beginning you may get it every time, but this is because the muscle is "untrained". After that, DMOS means nothing, in fact may be counterproductive. The idea is to STIMULATE the muscle, not anniahlate it.

Must agree with bb1fit. I don't get DOMS nearly as much as I used to... once in a while on leg day if I do a new movement...
As for 'instantly-ish'... it's gonna take some time to notice changes... one of the first things is a change in how your clothes will fit... you may not run out of breath as soon... sleep better... better mood...
Hope that helps.. plus, fill out your profile.

I was just going to say that the stronger I get them more I know that I am doing it right.
