Hi im 29 yrs old and have worked out off and on since i was 12.
I have been out of training around 4 yrs and when I do more then 25 sit ups my ab muscles start cramping very bad, like a charlie horse up and down my stomach. Hurts to the point i cant move.. I have never experienced this before I know i should take it slow at first since im out of shape
But is this normal???
Yep. Don't hassle yourself. And don't try getting to your previous peak in a few sessions, but work it up. 20 today, 2 more the day after tomorrow, etc etc. Good luck.
