I have decided today to try slim fast and to drink more green tea. I am not sure if it will help any and could use as much help as possible so if any one can help me out in letting me know if this is a good ideal or not that would be great.

Hi tara. Try a fit buddy search on both of these. They were both discussed just this week in fact. :) But, the long and short of it.... Green tea, yes, it's good for you. Helping you to lose weight? Not sure about that, it can work as a diuretic when you first start drinking it, but after drinking green tea for years, I've yet to see it's weight loss properties. But, it's good for you in so many other areas, go for it and maybe it will help you with weight loss.
Slim fast is not a great idea unless you are using it to supplement your regular diet which would consist of at least 3-4 regular meals of FOOD, not slim fast. In addition, slim fast does not have much nutritional value and has a lot of sugar. There are better alternatives.

Thanks Amy I will check that out. Do you know of anything other then pills or supplements that are good to use? I am not into taking diet pills or anything I just was looking for something that may help boost my metabolism.

5-6 small meals a day, plenty of water, and regular exercise. The only natural ways to boost your metabolism. ;)

I'm not sure that it applies, but a lot of body builders use green tea pills to aid in weight loss. I've tried it, and it seems to work like any other diet pill. They are cheap(about $10 for 45 day supply)enough to give it a try, and not feel cheated if they don't work for you. I'm not high on slim fast at all, and agree with amyksmith76. And remember, supplements are just that,..supplemental. They are just smaller pieces to the puzzle.
Stay dedicated, and always challenge yourself. You are on the right track.
