Smart Balance® Light Buttery Spread with Flax Oil
Has anyone tried this, I'm sure some have?
Question is to though that have is this an ok use to get your buttery taste in every once in awhile?
Ingredients:
Water, Natural Oil Blend ( Palm Fruit, soybean, canola, flax seed and olive oil ) contains less then 2% of salt, vegtable monoglycerides and sorbitan ester of fatty acids( emulsifiers ) natural and artificial flavor, soybean lecithin, potassium sorbate, calcium disodium EDTA, TBHQ and lactic acid, Vitamin E acetate Vitamin E palmitate and beta carotene color.

If I ever use butter, I use smart balance. I would like to hear some input on it as well.

I like it, I don't know if there have been any stidies done on whether you actually get any benefits from the flax or the omegas that are in smart balance 9what I mean is whether they are actually bio-available in the form of smart balance). I figure it is a step above margarine/butter and more palatable than the powdered butter substitutes.

I have changed to useing it. The taste is most like the real thing that I have found. Less fat and same taste is a + in my book. Hubby didnt know the difference so now he is a fan of it too.

I use it. It's gotta be better than all the garbage with hydrogenated oils.

i like this too. i usually put some of it on my sweet potatoes but i also read on nutritiondata.com that it says there is trans fat in it...although smart balance claims there isnt any and i generally like their brand and products
