Hi,
I was just wondering what muscles are majorly involved in the the power snatch, snatch squat, hang clean, rack pull, power clean, and other powerlifts. I just got my summer strength and conditioning workout in the mail, and I recently semi injured my hamstrings and my doctor has told me not to do anything involving them with weights or sprinting. I feel screwed. Atleast for the next few weeks according to him. Do those exercises majorly involve the hamstrings???

I'm not exactly sure what I did, I finished school and didn't do my leg lifts for a good 3 weeks , but I kept doing the drills and conditioning every other day of each other, and I don't think I rested enough, and by the 3rd or 4th week of continuous days like that and this paticular week I sprinted about 6 or 7 thousand yards between drills and conditioning and they were just extremely tight after that, so I rested a couple days and stretched , and then I went to go drills on monday and after I stretched and warmed up, I ususally Like to start out with a 40 yard dash, just to see how I'm moving along and after I came out of my stance, instant tightness so I stopped, and went to see the doctor. Tuesday I get the X-ray results and I have been in rehab for a good 3 weeks now, so I don't think it will be much longer, but I only have until Aug. 29, till school and football season arrive and where I'm going I can't have this slack time off crap, I neeed to be running, powerlifting and going as hard as I can goooo. I think If i contacted them and told them I had a hamstring problem that might be unacceptable.
