Like I said in another post, I am trying to trim up before hubby returns from Iraq. I had gone to see a nutritionist who put me down to 1200 calories a day. I had had a c-section so working out was out for a while. Now I am exciting about starting this plan but I am terrified of eating 2065 calories! Isn't that tooooo much? I make it a point to walk/jog 2 to 4 miles a day but adding this many calories scares me.
It does SEEM like alot, however, if your calories are broken down into the correct ratio of p/c/f and you are active doing cardio and resistance training you should be alright (and see amazing results). Remember you are more concerned with increasing your muscle to fat ratio thereby increasing your metabolism. Increase your calories gradually over a period of 1-2 weeks. Break the totals down so that you get them in 4-6 meals per day. Keep track of what you eat. Evaluate your progress (not what you weigh but how you look, how your clothes fit etc.), then adjust your calories accordingly. Also, search for diet and nutrition tips on the message boards. Have patience and you will see results. Good Luck
