I'm doing this so i can learn to love my-self and hopefully start being able to fit into a size 16. I dont want to be a skinny I just want to lose about 50 pounds.
I'm 22 and I weigh 220. I walked into the club a couple weeks ago and this skinny girl said that they really let fat girls in here. My feelings were hurt so bad. I'm a very pretty girl inside and out. I want this for my-self but I need a really good group of people that can help me and give me pointers so if you have any just let me know thanks so much for your time!!!!
One of the best parts of losing weight is when all the people who thought you couldn't are proven wrong. I'd use that skinny girl's comment as motivation to stick it to her when you succeed.
So here's the short of it:
-Diet. This should be the top priority to get under control. Start around the 2000 calorie mark per day. Yes you do have to count calories. Yes it's hard, but once you get used to it it's not so bad.
-Get active. Hopefully a good strength training routine coupled with cardio. Cardio doesn't necessarily mean running. It can be anything that gets your heart rate up and keeps it up. Yes to strength training. Every muscle group(maybe a circuit), preferably a couple times a week.
