since my left bicep is messed up can't do many thing i wan too , one being bench pressing heavy, but I did discover 2 new things to try to really test your chest strength.
bench...pause...bench do regualr bench press( or incline or decline) bring the bar down slowly let the bar stop completly on your chest( you should be able to let go of bar and it balance fairly well) then bench press it back up, "pulling" from your inner chest. very hard ( do high reps and explode from the pause)
bench fly bench.....I did these on accident trying to warm my chest up lol.......using dumbells (on incline my personal fav) get weight you can handle about 10 times, bench pres it, then fly it bench press it 2 times then fly it 2 times,then bench it 3 times, then fly it 3 times, or you can just alternate it fly, becnh flye. bench! keep going till you can't do either controled! talking about hurting the pecs
