I'm not usually the type to interfere with another person's life...but my co-workers...MANY of them are on this crazy diet...they're eating next to nothing and taking chromium like mad....
Should I say something? Or let them learn the hard way? |

Will they really turn bright red? I know next to nothing about supplements- As far as talking to them... most people do NOT like it when someone tells them they're wrong. Save yourself the trouble- if you hear them complaining about above mentioned diet, throw your two cents in, but I wouldn't touch it while they happy with what they're doing.

Or you could always use a great debate tatic: tell them you're interested about their diet, and have them start giving you details. Then, in an inquisitve way, you can start asking them questions about certain aspects of it; and when they attempt to answer it, ask another question about their answer, until finally, the utter fultility of this diet may become apparent to them. It may not work, but at least to put forth the effort in trying to help them without it seeming like an attack.

Congrats on your relay Jefado. As for your coworkers, let them learn the hard way even if they fall ill. You are doing it the right way. Sometimes people just dont get it that theres no fast way out. Talk to you soon!

The people who undertake those extreme diets usually don't last too long on them. Maybe after they "fail", you can talk sensibly to them about nutrition, and how negatively the body reacts to "extreme" measures. The body is a very intricate machine, and will fight back, usually with even worse results than before starting. Good luck to you. Try to help them when the time is right.-------------- The one goal you will NEVER achieve is the one you never attempt. Ron |

Find a scare-tactic article about extreme diets and leave it in the coffee room, anonymously...-------------- Think you can or think you can't; either way you're right--Goethe |
